We are publishing today the third beta release.
There are no major visible changes in this release, but we put great effort on the server side to implement automated model validation and improve the calculation of the quality metrics.
We also published the compiled SimpleElastix modules for the major platforms on PyPI to improve the experience of the source installation. You can get them for Python 3.8 and 3.9 with the following command:
pip install SimpleITK-SimpleElastix
This change is also reflected in the requirements.txt
file. The windows version of pypotrace is still not on PyPI, which prevents a fully automated installation procedure.
Proper python packaging will also require a reorganization of our source tree, so it will be the focus on a future milestone release.
